Spike & Serve based in Honolulu, Hawai'i is a community-minded non-profit that aims to positively shape lives through the sport of volleyball.  We aim to inspire youth & adults to reach their maximum potential and achieve life long goals.  This unique program has direct access to NCAA coaches throughout the country & our resources in the sport are unparalleled in Hawai'i. 

Our coaching staff include beach & indoor Olympians, Gold Medalists, NCAA Champions, Players of the Year, All Americans & high school All-Stars who humbly serve your children.

Our programs include competitive indoor club teams , competitive beach teams Hawaii Junior Volleyball League , Ali'i Beach Volleyball League, Mauka to Makai, Junior & Adult Beach Volleyball Tournaments, and Hawaii's premier local & internationally televised beach volleyball events such as the Hawai'i State Prep Championships, Pac Rim Championships, Hawai'i Sand Volleyball Festival, and the "Dad" Center Founders Cup that honors the man noted to have invented the sport of beach volleyball over 100 years ago on the sands of Waikiki. 

Founded by US Beach Volleyball Olympian Kevin Wong, USA Volleyball's Coach of the Year, we endeavor to make the sport accessible for all children & adults regardless of demographic or geographic circumstance.  Teaching beginners the game, helping elite athletes advance thier skills to the next level and creating opportunities to help our community thrive.

SASVBC is a competitive National Championship winning boys & girls volleyball club that in just four short seasons has had teams win two national championships, two silvers, and three bronze finishes at the USAV GJNC and USAV BJNC respectively. We believe that winning is a natural by-product of positive, educated coaching. Our club volleyball program includes boys & girls U12 thru U18 age divisions . Our Mauka to Makai program is a community initiative that provides free volleyball clinics in under served areas of O'ahu.  Areas served so far have been: Papa'kolea, Kapolei, Kaka'ako, & free clinics at UH.  Believing in community and collaboration we also work with other youth-oriented non-profits like Make a Wish Hawai'i, HUGS, Special Olympics Hawai'i and many others.

Kevin Wong - Founder
Spike & Serve Founder US Beach Volleyball Olympian Kevin Wong as born on O'ahu & raised in Pearl City.  A Punahou graduate, he went to UCLA where he majored in business & economics. At UCLA he was a 3-time All American & helped his team win two NCAA Championships . Following his dream to be an Olympic athlete, he represented the USA in the Sydney Olympic Games. His professional beach volleyball career spanned 15 years during which he won the coveted "King of the Beach" title and the "Wimbeldon of Beach Volleyball" the Manhattan Beach Open, twice. In 2001 he was ranked #1 in the world.

Returning home to Hawai'i, he began volunteer coaching at a public school where he found his love for children, coaching, and giving back. This is where the idea of "Spike & Serve" began: Serving the children and the community.

Kevin is a sports analyst for NBC, NBCSN, PAC 12 Network, OC16 & OC Sports & a Public motivational speaker. In 2013 he coached his inaugural TEAM SASVBC U15s girls club team to win the Gold at the Girls Junior National Championships winning with a perfect 12-0. In 2014 he received the prestigious national award of Outstanding Male Coach from USA Volleyball. 

His personal mission is to give back and serve the volleyball community of Hawai'i by utilizing his vast resources in the sport. He is a board member of the Positive Coaching Alliance , committee member of
USA Volleyball , and supporter of the Joyful Heart Foundation . Kevin has been featured in the Art of Coaching .

Spike & Serve co-founder and Kevin's wife of 12 years, Sherry Harper Wong manages the design and development of every Spike & Serve program.  Also a professional photographer, her work has been published in DiG and Volleyball Magazine among others.
